The 31-year-old singer is desperate for Sir Richard Branson to invite him on the Virgin Galactic SpaceShip when it goes into orbit in 2010.

A ticket for the interstellar trip costs just £115,000 per person.

However, Robbie might not have to go into space to meet aliens - he's already admitted he thinks they'll come to us one day.

He told Britain's BBC Radio 2: 'I've been dreaming every night about UFO's, every night. I can't wait to go to sleep at night because those dreams have been so brilliant.

'I think they are definitely on there way, seriously. Mark my words. From now until 2012 - watch out kids.'

Rob's religious art spree

ROBBIE Williams has paid a graffiti artist Ј30,000 for a controversial painting of the Nativity scene.

It shows Mary and Joseph blocked from getting to Bethlehem by a graffiti wall — mimicking the Israeli barrier round the Palestinian territories.
Robbie spotted the painting by art hoaxer Banksy in a London gallery and bought it for his Chelsea home.
Other stars who snapped up 30-year-old Banksy’s work include Jamie Oliver and Damon Albarn.
Earlier this year he sneaked a picture of a caveman with a shopping trolley into the British Museum.

Robbie Williams reportedly wants to launch a new career - as a comedian.

The pop heartthrob apparently fancies himself as a stand-up comic - and says he could quit singing to tell jokes.

The hunky star says he loves bantering with the audience when he's performing, but sometimes dreams of ditching the songs and doing comedy full-time, like his entertainer dad Pete Conway.

He told a German newspaper: 'My father was a stand-up comedian for years. Maybe I will be too.

'I notice sometimes on stage that the music suddenly gets in the way because I just want to talk to the audience or make them laugh.'

The 31-year-old also admitted he doesn't understand why the press portray him as a troubled star.

He said: 'For years there has been this public image of me that I have never understood. They say I'm a deeply depressed, sad bloke who is barely able to get out of bed to see the next day.

'The media seem to like it - he is on the one hand the famous entertainer Robbie Williams but on the other hand he cannot enjoy his life at all.'

Won libel suit

Williams complained that he was seen in the press as haunted by demons and unable to enjoy his fame and fortune.

"For years there has been this public image of me that I have never understood. They say again and again that I'm a deeply depressed, sad bloke who is barely able to get out of bed to see the next day," he said.

"The media seem to like it - he is on the one hand the famous entertainer Robbie Williams but on the other hand he cannot enjoy his life at all. He can't be happy! He is depressed, a horrible person, he can't sing and he must be gay."

The singer-songwriter accepted substantial, undisclosed libel damages last month over false claims in a tabloid newspaper and two magazines that he was secretly homosexual.

Williams said his best friend Jonathan Wilkes would be going with him on his next tour and that Wilkes helped him cope with the pressure of fame.

"I've known him for 25 years, since he was a baby. I believe it is my mission in life to take care of him. I cannot imagine not being with him. Life is so much easier with him. When I go on tour soon for five months, he'll be coming along. I simply don't want to be without him."

ROBBIE WILLIAMS is dating the former girlfriend of Busted star MATT JAY, I can reveal. He met sexy MTV presenter EMMA GRIFFITHS at the MTV Awards in November and they have been an item ever since.

Both were guests at the five-star Four Seasons hotel in Lisbon and stayed together that night.

But it was only this week that Emma let slip to friends that she and Robbie are a couple.

She told them: "We met when he arrived in Portugal for the awards.

He looked at me and I looked back at him and we got chatting."
The pair hit it off straight away.

Emma said: "He is so gorgeous. I fancied him and it didn't take long for things to happen.

"He was lovely— such a polite man — and I was even starstruck which is unlike me. We decided to go back to the hotel together."

My source revealed: "Robbie thought Emma was beautiful and she has always loved him so it didn't take long for the sparks to fly."

I can also reveal that the couple have stayed in touch by text and phone since he returned to his home in Los Angeles. My source told me: "Emma can't wait to see him again, and Robbie seems keen too.

"She knows there is distance between them but she has her fingers crossed that it might work out."

Former model Emma has been out with a host of stars.

Apart from Matt, who she dated for nine months before Busted split, she has been linked with JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, Hollywood actor STEPHEN DORFF and her MTV co-presenter ALEX ZANE.

The Robster has an impressive list of conquests too—including GERI HALLIWELL, NICOLE APPLETON, TANIA STRECKER and more recently RACHEL HUNTER.

Kaiser Chiefs грозят сорвать банк на Brit Awards

В Великобритании объявлены номинанты престижной музыкальной премии Brit Awards. Наибольшее количество номинаций - по пять - собрали Джеймс Блант (James Blunt) и Kaiser Chiefs - самые яркие новички, появившиеся на британской сцене в прошлом году.

Блант отмечен в категориях «лучший сольный исполнитель», «лучший поп-исполнитель» и «прорыв года», его альбом «Back To Bedlam» имеет шансы стать «британским альбомом года», а песня «You're Beautiful» - «синглом года». Тем же «прорывом года» могут быть названы и Kaiser Chiefs, кроме того, они заявлены в номинациях «лучшая британская группа», «лучшая рок-группа» и «лучший концертный коллектив», а их «Employment» составит конкуренцию «Back To Bedlam» в категории «альбом года».

По четыре номинации у Coldplay, по три - у KT Tunstall, Franz Ferdinand, Arcade Fire и Мадонны. В двух категориях обнаружили себя Кейт Буш и Oasis.

Удивительно, но любимец нации Робби Уильямс в этом году году удостоился единственной номинации - традиционной для него «лучший сольный  исполнитель». Церемония вручения премий Brit Awards состоится 15 февраля в Лондоне.
