Ну вот более менее конкретно по теме! Этот плащ вдохновлён ролью Майкла Кейна в фильме "Досье Ипрекса".

Про шляпы и кепарики)
GQ.com recently went on a field/road trip aboard a "luxury Winnebago" to the Christys' factory in Witney, Oxfordshire . There Farrell's head of design Ben Dickens, formerly design director at Burberry, revealed why the clothing brand founded by Robbie Williams had elected to work with the storied hat-maker for everyone from Winston Churchill to Don Corleone.

Founded in 1773, Christys' was originally based in London, then Stockport. Aside from that, not much has changed. Indeed, the factory is practically a working museum, with the youngest piece of machinery at least half a century old. The handmade hat-making arm was bought by Liberty last year, separating it from the Christys' group, the chief interest of which had become Far East-sourcing and making Disney costumes, with the promise to sustain and eventually perhaps even resurrect the dying trade.

As well as its own hats (available to buy, unsurprisingly, in Liberty), Christys' has also made headgear for fashion brands as diverse as Paul Smith and Karl Lagerfeld. For two seasons now it has also collaborated with Farrell, for spring/summer 2012 in the various shapes of baker boy, Panama and foldaway trilby. As Dickens explained, the quality and heritage of Christys' chimes particularly well with Farrell, inspired as it is by Robbie's grandfather Jack "The Giant-Killer" Farrell. (He earned the nickname boxing, FYI.) Here are some other things we learnt along the way.

They call it the Theatre of Dreams, Old Trafford. For 102 years, great men have met there - footballing foes - to settle scores (and score draws).

It may have been the blue half on Manchester celebrating league victory three weeks ago but on Sunday red and white flags were flying proudly again, not for the Red Devils this time, but for England. The symbol of St George adorned the faces, scarves and other paraphernalia of more than 75,000 fans who filled the streets from the Arndale Centre to the reinvigorated Salford Quays.

They waited expectantly for the arriving players until a cacophony of horns greeted the incoming team buses. As the doors opened, it was not Steven Gerrard leading his players off, rather a Mr Robbie Williams, the grandson of one Jack Farrell.

Behind him followed a band of proverbial brothers who had the biggest of occasions to rise to, not just for sporting glory, but - as this was Soccer Aid - to raise money for those who needed it most. If upon arrival in Ukraine, the England team proper get even a quarter of the reception these boys got, they’ll be overwhelmed.

The football fanatics, cheered legends like David Seaman, Teddy Sheringham and Graeme Le Saux while celeb spotters went wild for the likes of Olly Murs, the JLS boys and Paddy McGuinness. They were part of an England side taking on a Rest of the World XI featuring former United heroes Roy Keane and Jaap Stam alongside Hollywood heavyweights Will Ferrell, Mike Myers, Woody Harrelson and Ed Norton amongst many others.

The game played out in an exuberant Old Trafford with a pace that belied the amateur nature of half its participants. Serge from Kasabian (looking every inch of footballing cool with headband and rolled up sleeves) put the Rest of the World ahead with a goal of requisite Italian style, before England replied through Teddy Sheringham. Jonathan Wilkes and Kevin Philips later secured a deserved English victory and the St George’s flags were waved in frenzy.

A bigger victory was the subsequent news that Soccer Aid had raised £4m for UNICEF to provide food, vaccines and other life-saving supplies to children around the world who desperately need it. The Theatre of Dreams helping kids realise theirs. Jack Farrell would have been very proud of what his grandson had achieved.

Here at Farrell we marked the occasion with a pair of specially-commissioned football boots embroidered with a gold Stafford knot. That it symbolises unity, friendship and respect seemed fitting.

And as we indulged in a mass “three lions on a shirt...” sing-along that evening, it reminded us of the fun, the nerves and the camaraderie that lies ahead at next month’s European Championships. A time for pulling on some fine English tailoring, taking pride in our heritage and believing, if even for a moment, that football is coming home.
